This lyric video visualiser allowed for exploration and experimentation within Adobe After Effects in motion graphics.
This specific project focused on a thirty second clip of, ‘Clint Eastwood’ sung by Gorillaz. This left a gruny-toned piece of work which explored elements of graffitti and urban features. This project focused on encapsulating all of Gorillaz style, imagery and type and placing them through a motion piece to build onto these aesthetics.
This video focused on the use of glitching and movement of cartoon characters as well as fun experimental uses of type through motion. Each of these ideas building life into pre-existing, non-moving graphics.
