this university project focused on creating a one coloured blue design to be considered in one of Lucienne Roberts new books exploring the themes and effects of flooding on a personal scale, this explored the ideas of loss, ruins and lack of preparations, all coming together to create a piece which can resonate with an audience and begin to take flooding seriously
these two concepts held two different meaning, one explored the personal loss of yourself, reflecting in the waters consuming a person and trapping them through their traumas, and the other acts as a call to action, a checklist of flooding necessities whilst appearing more corporal and serious
